Working under the direction of the COO, the Clinical Supervisor/Senior Counselor performs a variety of functions involved in program development, oversight, and coordination of clinical services.
Applicant will be required to:
Review treatment plans and other documentation
Coordinate clinical resources
Provides clinical training and serves as resource for Agency’s staff
Other duties as assigned by the COO or CEO.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Clinical Supervisor/Senior Counselor position is both clinical and administrative.
The position requires excellent ability to adapt, direct and drive clinical services to achieve optimum access to services and quality of care.
Clinical Supervisor/Senior Counselor is responsible for communication among staff, clients, families, and external resources to ensure collaboration and continuity of treatment; actively participates as a part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Must provide effective role modeling and leadership to the clinical staff.
Must interview hire and orient\train assigned staff to policy, roles and duties and assure they are practicing within their scope.
Qualifications and Skills
*Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work (minimum)
*Requires independent NYS license (LMHC or LCSW)
*Previous managerial experience preferred
